There's no doubt that our universe is a fascinating place but we're isolcated from it by the barrier of time, only able to look into it and see the light that reaches us from across the galaxy, which itself has taken hundreds of thousands of years to reach us and therefore is quite literally the distant past. The theory of time has always been a fascination, even from my early years when infinite was actually a thing, temporal mechanics has been a constant consideration, but in recent years with advances in Quantum mechanics I've come to bettter understand time as being firmly monodirectional. This is because of the irreversible loss of quanta information as wave states collapse and equilibrium is reached through entanglement on a cosmic scale which totally precludes any chance of time reversal. With this knowledge I have abandoned my quest to build a time machine, returned all the parts back to the household appliances they came from and will focus on something more attainable, such as making music.
A big thank you to those who have inspired and educated me over the last 4 decades; Stephen Hawking, Sean Carroll, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Brian Greene, Don Lincoln and Michio Kaku just to name a few. It is truly an exciting time in particle physics!
